To make a purchase with us, simply browse the online store and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. When you have made your selection, click on 'Checkout'. You will be asked to provide your billing, delivery and payment details. An email confirmation will be sent to indicate that your order has been received. Your order is deemed as accepted, and a contract will exist between the purchaser and homefocus.ie, once we have issued you with your goods and an invoice. Please ensure you supply a correct email address otherwise you will not receive an acknowledgement.
How much is delivery and how long will it take?
For deliveries within Ireland allow 3-5 working days for deliveries by An Post. For collect in store deliveries please allow 7-10 working days.
Costs for Deliveries Store deliveries are free An Post Deliveries: 5.00 per delivery to Republic of Ireland 10.00 per delivery for Northern Ireland 15.00 per delivery for all mainland UK addresses.
We do not deliver outside these areas at the moment.
Where can I have my order delivered to and can I arrange to collect my order from my local Home Focus or Hickeys store?
Orders can be sent to an address selected by you - home, work etc (never a PO Box) or to the Hickey Fabric or Home Focus at Hickeys store of your choice. We use An Post for all home deliveries
I have selected to collect my order from my local Home Focus at Hickeys store, what happens next?
1. You'll receive an email confirming your order 2. Our team will process your order 3. You'll receive an email containing information on when your item will be ready or collection. 4. Note your collection date and pop into the store to collect your item. 5. Your must bring all of the following
Photo ID (passport or driving licence)
Copy of your order confirmation.
You must produce the card used to place your order
What happens if my delivery comes in 2 deliveries, will I be expected to pay delivery twice?
No you will only pay one delivery per order regardless of how many parcels we send you. What happens if I am not in when you make a delivery?
All our deliveries are handled by An Post and unsuccessful deliveries will be returned to your local delivery office where you can collect your order.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched we will send you an email confirming despatch with your tracking number. You can then track delivery of your order by visiting http://track.anpost.ie/
What is the returns policy?
If you are not entirely delighted with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 30 days of receipt. We will be happy to offer you an exchange or, if you wish, a refund provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, unwashed and with the original packaging. Items can be returned outside this period if they are found to be faulty but please take extra care to read our Caring for your Fabrics page or any specific care instructions provided with your purchase. We cannot accept an item returned as faulty if the appropriate product care instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is clearly due to wear and tear or misuse. Our refund policy does not apply to cut fabrics, which we won't refund or exchange and for hygiene reasons, duvets and pillows. Your statutory rights to refund or exchange of course still apply if goods are faulty, or not as described these items can only be returned if the sealed packaging has not been opened. Return of an item is at your own cost unless the item is faulty.
How do I return items I have purchased online?
Please complete the returns form that came with your parcel with the details of the items you are returning and enclose this form with your returned parcel. Please let us know whether you require an exchange or a refund and always include a daytime telephone number and your email address in case we need to contact you about the return. If you no longer have your returns form, please include a letter giving your name, address, customer number if possible, email address and daytime telephone number plus a note of what you are returning and why, and whether you want a refund or exchange for another product You can send your return by post. Parcels are returned at your own cost, and we strongly recommend you obtain a free certificate of postage from the Post Office as we are responsible for your parcel only once it has been received into our warehouse. Items lost in transit will not be treated as returned
You can return an item to one of Home Focus at Hickeys or Hickey Fabrics stores as long as you have your completed returns form. Items returned to our stores will be processed once received back at our warehouse and your refund or exchange will be generated from there. Returns cannot be accepted at our stores unless it is accompanied by a completed returns form as we will be unable to process your return without this information.
How can I pay for my on line order and is it secure?
We accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards and Laser debit cards. Our online payment processing is completely secure and is PCI and DSS compliant.
When am I charged for my goods?
We won't take any payment for your order until your order has been shipped and is on it's way to you.
