www.homefocus.ie is an Irish owned online retailer of ready made curtains, cushions, bedding and home accessories and is operated by Hickey & Company Limited. Any references to "we", "us" and "our" shall be deemed to be references to Home Focus. References to "you" and "your" shall be deemed to be references to the person placing an order via this website.

General Terms and Conditions
Making a Purchase
By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unclear about any aspects of these terms, please contact us either by telephone on 00353 1 645 8200, by email at email@example.com or in writing at the above address.
By placing an order via this website you are making an offer to Hickey & Company Limited to purchase the goods detailed in your order upon the terms described in your order.
Once you have placed an order we will send you a confirmation that your order has been received but this is not a confirmation that your offer to purchase the goods has been accepted. A contract between you and Hickey & Company Limited for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched to you. Your credit/debit card will be authorised when your order is placed and processed but you will not be charged for the value of the goods until the point that they are dispatched to you. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. A delivery charge will be added to your order value where appropriate. Please see our delivery times and charges.
All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change. We can accept no liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) if delivery takes place at any time other than the estimated date for delivery. All orders received and accepted before 4pm will, subject to availability and where possible, be dispatched on the following day. All orders received and accepted after 4pm will be deemed as received the following day and will be dispatched the day after.
We do not accept gift vouchers for payment on the goods purchased on our website.
Conformity of Goods
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, specifications and descriptions of products on this website are not intended to be binding and are intended only to give a general description of the products. Furthermore, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used to view the products. Accordance with Specification: All descriptive matter, drawings, pictures, colours, specifications and advertising on the website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the products.
We will endeavour to deliver the products to you within 3-5 working days of your account order within the island of Ireland, where this is practical. However, products are subject to availability and delays may sometimes occur that are outside of our control. Any dates specified for delivery are therefore approximate only. If delivery is delayed for more than 21 days, you have the right to contact us and refuse to accept the products. In these circumstances, we will refund any money paid by you for those products and any delivery monies you have been charged. However, we will not be responsible for any other losses, costs, damages or charges that you may suffer if we delay in supplying or do not supply those products. At the time of delivery you will be required to validly sign-off on the delivery of the products, after which time the products become your sole responsibility.
Your Right to Cancel
Under the European Directive on Distance Selling you have a statutory right to return goods purchased online within 14 days of receiving your order. During this cooling off period you are entitled to receive a full refund including delivery charges. This fourteen day period begins the day after you receive the item(s) from us. You may return the item(s) either to one of our stores or by post (cost of return postage will not be refunded, we strongly recommend you use a tracking service to return goods by post). Please notify us in writing within fourteen working days of receiving item(s) that you wish to cancel your order.
If you are not entirely delighted with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 30 days of receipt, goods discounted by 50% or more must be returned within 14 days from receipt of order. We will be happy to offer you a refund provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, unwashed and with all of the original packaging. Items can be returned outside this period if they are found to be faulty but please take extra care to read our Caring for your Fabrics page or any specific care instructions provided with your purchase. We cannot accept an item returned as faulty if the appropriate product care instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is clearly due to wear and tear or misuse. Certain items are excluded from our returns policy for hygiene reasons such as bed linen, duvet covers duvets and pillows, readymade curtains cannot be returned once the heading tape has been pulled and we do not accept returns for fabric sold by the metre. Return of an item is at your own cost unless the item is faulty. The above does not affect your statutory rights.
All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication, are quoted in euro and are inclusive of Irish VAT at the current rate but exclude delivery charges.
You will be responsible for the payment of any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country.
